    The main structure of the cooling patch is divided into three parts: the base non-woven fabric, the main gel layer and the anti-adhesive layer. The hydrophilic gel in the gel layer has a good energy conversion function, which can stimulate the cold receptors of the nerve endings to produce a cold sensation. After applying the cooling patch, the heat on the skin will be absorbed by the polymer gel layer and dissipated through vaporization, achieving the purpose of continuously taking away the body's heat. The cooling time of the cooling patch is generally more than 6 to 8 hours.

    Know-How


    Principle:

    Sodium polyacrylate cross-links under the action of aluminum ions to form a three-dimensional water-retaining glue layer. It is coated on the non-woven fabric and release film layer by special coating equipment and solidified into an elastic hydrogel layer. After the gel layer contacts the skin, it softens the stratum corneum and continuously pushes the active components into the human body.

    Reversible thermochromic pigments are prepared from electron transfer organic compound systems. Electron transfer organic compounds are a type of organic color-producing system with a special chemical structure. At a specific temperature, the molecular structure of the organic matter changes due to electron transfer, thereby achieving color change. This color-changing substance is not only bright in color, but also can achieve color changes from "colored to colorless" and "colorless to colored" states.

    Operation Steps


    1) Add glycerin to the egg beater first, then add other powder components in Part 1, turn on the stirring (medium gear) and stir for 10-20 minutes until a uniform paste-like semi-fluid is formed, without visible powder particles; COOLERNT10 and temperature-sensitive color paste are added before the end of stirring, and mix well
    2) Prepare Part 3 in another container, first add water, tartaric acid, and BIOGUARD-CP, stir evenly, then add 20% PVPk90 solution, and stir evenly manually (high-speed stirring will introduce bubbles) (Kaolin can use a small amount of purified water to disperse evenly, and then add Part 2)
    3) Add the prepared Part 3 to the vacuum double planetary power mixer, and then add the beaten Part 1
    4) Turn on the vacuum of the mixer until the pressure gauge is below 0.08pa, and stir quickly for 5-8 Minutes to form a viscous colloid
    5) Stop stirring, release the vacuum, turn on the stirrer to discharge the material to the hopper of the special coating machine
    6) Discharge the material from the hopper, turn on the coating machine, and set the machine coating speed and conveyor belt transmission speed according to the production requirements
    7) Package after curing for 8-12 hours

    Process Parameters:


    1) The glycerin phase (Part 1) must be mixed thoroughly and no lumps visible to the naked eye should be present
    2) The time from mixing the water phase and the glycerin phase (i.e. step 6) to discharging the material to the hopper should not be too long, and should not exceed half an hour
    3)The coating time for each batch of material should be controlled within 30 minutes. Too long a time may make it difficult to coat the tail material
