Technical principles and structure


The  main  structure  of  the  cooling  gel  sheet  is  divided  into  three parts:  substrate   non-woven  fabric,   main  body  layer  cooling   hydrogel layer and release plastic film.Under the action of aluminum ions, sodium polyacrylate  crosslinks  to  form  a  three-dimensional  water   retaining adhesive layer.After being coated in non-woven fabric and release film by special  coating  equipment, the  elastic  hydrogel  layer  is  solidified.After applying the cooling patch, the heat on the skin will be absorbed by the hydrogel layer and dissipated through vaporization, so as to continuously take away the heat from the body.The cooling time can generally last for 6 to 8 hours or more.

B.   Operational details
 

1. Separate the required materials according to different categories and weigh them for use, and prepare the cooling agent (alcohol and menthol are dissolved separately in proportion for use).

2. Add glycerin to the egg beater, then add the powder required for the    glycerin phase. First, manually mix with the mixer blade of the egg beater, and then install and start stirring (fast) for about 10 minutes until a uniform paste like semi fluid is formed with no visible powder particles.
 
3. Prepare the water phase in another container, add the required materials, and stir with a high-speed disperser until completely dissolved.
 
4. Add the prepared glycerin phase to the double planet vacuum mixer, then quickly pour the water phase into the mixing pot of the vacuum mixer, disperse the glycerin phase, and add pigments and cooling agents (menthol and alcohol solution) in proportion.
 
5. Start the double planet vacuum mixer, vacuumize to below 0.08pa of the pressure gauge, then mix quickly (50 revolutions) for 3 min, and medium speed (30 revolutions) for 5min, stop mixing, cancel the vacuum, and pour the gel into the hopper of the special coating machine.
 
6. Discharge the material from the hopper, turn on the coating machine, set the coating cutter speed and conveyor belt speed according to the output, place the cut cooling patches flat on the curing shelves, and air dry for curing (8-12 hours).
 
7. After curing, it is bagged and packed, and then put into the box.
 

C.   Precautions
 

1. The glycerin phase stirring must form a homogeneous fluid without lumps,  otherwise  it  will  affect  the  material  state  and  even  scrap  the entire pot.


2. The time from the discharge of the material after vacuum stirring to the  completion  of  coating  should  not  be  too  long,  and  should  be controlled  within  30   minutes  as   much  as  possible,  otherwise  it   may cause difficulty in coating the end materials or even scrap.


3. The cut patches should be laid flat as much as possible and should not be stacked too much.
